The Benhaim Winery named the best boutique winery in Israel at the TERRAVINO 2012 international wine competition, under the supervision of the OIV international wine association. Over 550 wines from 25 countries participated.
This accomplishment joins many other achievements which the winery has accumulated over the years – over 45 medals in Israel and around the world, including 35 gold medals and the Grand Prix medal at an international competition in Europe.
Winning the GRAND CHAMPION title at the TERRAVINO 2013 international wine competition with the Mythos 2005 wine – which was chosen as the best wine – was a groundbreaking success for an Israeli wine. It defeated 600 other wines from 24 countries and was named the Best Wine in Israel.
Other prizes include:
2 medals at the DECANTER (DWWA) 2014/15 international wine competition
2 medals at the FINGER LAKES NY 2013 international wine competition
Honorary certificate at the 100 Best Wines competition in China, and the selection of the Cabernet Franc Reserve 2010 as the Best Wine in the Middle East.
